Mclaren Renault

Out of the dark ages they finally step, and hopefully into the light. It's finally happened. Mclaren have shaken off the dark days of the past 3 years and ditched honda, signing a 3 year engine deal with Renault, with Toro Rosso picking up Honda as a supplier. How is this going to go is the question? Well, the renault engine this year has been decent, discounting Verstappen's issues. Hulkenberg has managed good results this season in the works Renault so things look promising for next year for Renault If Renault manage to provide a decent engine, and Mclaren re-produce the fantastic chassis they had this season,i can see a fight with Red-Bull and Force India on the Cards. But knowing Alonso's luck,Toro Rosso will win a race with Honda power next season! What do you guys make of the switch?

BREAKING: Carlos Sainz signs for Renault for 2018.

So it's happened! The rumours that materialised earlier in the year have come true. Carlos Sainz has signed for Renault for the 2018 season. An interesting and quite unexpected move to say the least. It's quite a surprise to see Sainz move out of the Red Bull program, but then again it isn't and i can see why he did it. It could potentially be a very smart move. Toro Rosso are in talks in moving to Honda power, and with how uncompetitive the toro rosso has been in the past few races,i can understand Sainz's logic in moving. Honda have yet to prove that they are able to be competitive, and with Sainz's frustration in Toro Rosso with a Ferrari engine, imagine his frustrations with a Honda Engine! It's obviously a move to future-proof himself in F1. I also think Sainz moved because he wasn't going to get a drive in a Red Bull for a considerable amount of time. Ricciardo and Verstappen are very strong drivers and an excellent combination in Red Bull,so why w

Alonso, should he stay or should he go?

Fernando Alonso. 16 years in the sport, two world titles and thousands of memes later, what's next for the spaniard? With Honda not delivering,is it time for Fernando to go,or should he stay and attempt to end his career on a high? Alonso is regarded as potentially one of the greatest drivers in F1 history. He's done wonders for the sport, with his investment in young karters back in his home country of Spain, and his golden radio lines. The decision to join Mclaren in 2015 was an understandable choice at the time. A championship winning pairing, rejoining to win again. As we all know, that most certainly was not the case. Honda never delivered from Day 1. Quite possibly the worst engine ever made in Formula 1,yes even worse than that Coloni Subaru, what a godawful car that was. As mentioned, ever since moving from Ferrari,Fernando hasn't had a chance to show his true class, only having brief flashes of brilliance, especially in his start sequences and battles with cars that

Halo,It's Me.....My Opinion on the Introduction of the Halo Device for F1 in 2018.

Hey guys, So it's been a little while since the F1 world went bloody berserk over this issue,so i waited for all of that to die down, especially the Flip Flop memes (can't deny they're pretty accurate). So,for those of you who may be new to Formula 1 or are unfamiliar with the Halo device,it is essentially a head protection device that is placed in front of the drivers head to protect, and i use the word protect loosely, from small to medium size debri s. I'll post a photo below. Testing of the Halo began back in 2016,but because of how......stupid-for want of a better term-it looked,F1 fans never really thought it would ever really make it into the sport, and the FIA would move on with pursuing a different solution, namely the Aeroscreen. After a few test runs, the FIA released a statement saying that the Halo was being withdrawn. Testing of the Aeroscreen began, but thanks to Sebastian Vettel, that was withdrawn due to it making him disorientated. Therefore, the F
